Basically, I went to my interview a few weeks ago. The GM there started talking about different positions and he mentioned framing. I said, "I really enjoyed stretching and framing canvas" -- a lie, by a mistake -- I only knew how to stretch the canvas. But he hired me, and when I went in, I was scared. The manager at the frame shop was very helpful and said she came in with no experience as well. Framing is probably one of the best positions to have there -- you deal with customers about 10% of the time, and if everything is finished you get to go home or put away stock. Easy.
