Does black and brown match?

I plan on wearing a white tank top with a black tank top underneath, so you can only see a border of black underneath the white. but i want to carry around a brown purse. its mostly a tan color, with a chocolate brown floral design. it also has a chocolate brown strap. oh, and im wearing white flipflops with a black strap. im just wondering if that matches. thanks.

Reply:I think it depends on what kind of pants or shorts you plan on wearing as well. Based on the description you have given so far, I would say no. I don't think the warm tone of the bag would go with the white flipflops. I say wear what you want....have you ever seen some of the stuff that comes down the runway during fashion week? :)
Reply:because the purse is brown and your outfit is black, i think you are fine. your purse doesnt have to match your outfit, it just adds to your appearance when it does.
