I want to be a Disney imagineer, what should i major in?

i want to be an imagineer ... i was wondering what type of majors do you need to have to be able to excel in this feild...

i really enjoy more of designing (floral design, Interior design%26lt; etc.) however im considering taking the path of majoring in arcitechture or civil engineering ... but i really really want to be an imagineer ... its my dream ...... any info about how to acheive this or where to start would be greatly appreciated.

The title "Imagineer" takes on a lot of educational disciplines.



You would defiantly need knowledge in Engineering(Structural or Electrical). But you also have to have an "artistic" and creative eye, so your interest in interior design will be a plus. These people design new and different projects, so you have to be able to "think outside the box".(Personally I hate that term but it does seem to fit here).



Depending on where you are in your studies you may be able to start at a lower level in the company such as an internship. You will also have to work your way up.
Reply:Start taking Mechanical/Structural/Electrical Engineering. You may also want to be an intern at Disney for a while and work your way up. Also email Disney to see what the would like!
